Netflix Top 10 Shows: The 3 You Need to Watch

Netflix offers a seemingly endless selection of shows across genres. With so much available, it’s hard to know what to watch next. But even if you don’t know where to start, the Netflix Top 10 list is a terrific place to begin. Not every popular show is the best, but to mine the Gems from the Glitter, I took out some time and created a list of the Shows that deserve your time: Here are three shows on the current Top 10 that you should watch (or keep watching) right now.
American Primeval
American Primeval is a gritty Western drama that transports the audience to the hard and merciless environment of the Old West in 1857. The series has a mother and son going on a dangerous venture to begin again. They meet groups of other people, all fighting for survival in the harsh landscape. The show is dark, violent, and tragic, depicting a brutal, unglamouright view of life on the American frontier. If you dig Westerns and love a good survival thriller, this series is a must-see.

Squid Game Season 2
The beloved K-drama Squid Game continues to enthrall audiences with its second season. The show stars Seong Gi-hun, the one winner of the deadly competition from the first season, who returns to the game to take it down from the inside1. With new contestants and exciting new challenges, Season 2 is just as buzzy and nail-bity as the first season. Desperation, greed, and survival are themes the series dives into, and its unusual premise keeps viewers on the edge of their seats. If you haven’t seen it yet, now is the time to get sucked into this tense family drama.
Sakamoto Days
For anime fans, Sakamoto Days is a relative newcomer on Netflix that has risen through the ranks. The series is based on a dark manga by Yuto Suzuki and follows Taro Sakamoto, a hitman who is an expert in his field, but has a soft spot for humanity, and is attempting to leave his criminal life behind and live peacefully with his partner. His past, however, comes back to haunt him, and he must struggle to protect his new life and family. Some say that the show closely follows the manga with action, drama, and a lot of emotional depth making it one of the premieres of Netflix’s anime. Sakamoto Days: If you want a new anime to binge on this is a great one to get into.
Why These Shows Stand Out
All of these shows add their own flavor to the mix. American Primeval paints a desolate, brutal picture of the Old West that is equal parts aesthetic and historical, while Squid Game Season 2 promises to re-execise the boundaries of suspense and drama in a visual storytelling good time. Add this unique spin to the mix, and Sakamoto Days finds its niche within anime itself, with a quality all its own, balancing action with emotion. These shows together make for a varied viewing experience that offers something for everyone.
Conclusion
Netflix’s Top 10 list is a good resource for finding new shows, but be judicious. American Primeval, Squid Game Season 2 and Sakamoto Days are three of them. So Western, K-drama or anime fan, these shows provide something unique and will surely entertain. So, crack open the popcorn and get binging!
